Out Reach Missions
Dr Rachor serves as the Founder and Director of Carriage Town Dental Clinic at Carriage Town Ministries in downtown Flint, caring the homeless and less fortunate.
Dr. Rachor and his family have had the joy of being involved with mission trip experiences and orphan care since 2006. Dr. Rachor’s association with the non-profit organization, Forever Changed International, has opened the door for fulfilling and life-changing mission trips. Guatemala City is home to dozens of children who live at Dorie’s Promise, the orphanage run by Forever Changed.
These mission trip experiences have provided the Rachor family and many others in the community an opportunity to engage in the lives of orphans and those living in the surrounding poverty-stricken communities. Children, teens, and entire families have joined in on these journey’s to Guatemala and found that focusing on the needs of others is clearly a privilege and a blessing.
Living at the orphanage, building schools and homes for families who need support and attention, and sharing food baskets, water filters, and medicine are some of the things that make these weeks important. Yet the opportunity to share the promise and assurance that all are made to be the recipients of the love and forgiveness of Jesus are what make these trips an experience that do leave people truly “forever changed”.
